The included vibration-resistant bracket kit lets you secure it on a variety of surfaces so it stays put over rough terrain, helping free up space and reduce weight compared to lead-acid setups.
Renogy's next-gen cells reduce liquid electrolyte by about 70%, leaving roughly 10% liquid electrolyte by weight. This semi-solid-state construction contributes to a 9x slower temperature rise versus traditional lithium cells under high-temperature stress, helping reduce the risk of thermal runaway and supporting long-term durability over 6,000 cycles at 80% DOD.
The self-heating version uses 150W heating pads that draw power from the charger, turning on around 40°F and off around 50°F so the battery can safely accept charge down to -4°F (-20°C). This helps prevent the short-circuit and thermal-runaway issues that can affect non-heated lithium batteries in freezing conditions, while keeping the same dimensions and performance as the standard model.
With 200A continuous discharge (290A peak for 30s), a single battery can power up to a 2000W inverter for demanding appliances when sized correctly. Built-in Bluetooth and CAN communication let you monitor battery status and integrate with compatible systems, and the IP67-rated aluminum-alloy enclosure with UL94 V-0 flame-retardant materials stands up to dust, water, and rugged environments.
