This AIMS Power converter charger uses a dip switch for manual voltage selection between 36VDC and 48VDC battery banks. It supports common battery types including open lead-acid, AGM, gel, and LiFePO4 batteries.
The charger provides up to 25A output in 36V mode and up to 18.5A output in 48V mode when supplied with 96–145VAC input. When input drops to 70–96VAC, the unit automatically derates to 50% of full-load current.
The unit uses bulk, absorb, and float charging stages with a variable charging voltage algorithm. Four pre-programmed charging algorithms can be selected using dip switches, while the adjustable charge current control dial supports safer charging for smaller batteries.
The charger includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit protections. Its wide AC input range, thermal and load-based fan, and battery temperature sensor port support practical use with generators, shore power, and higher-voltage battery systems.
