The AIMS Power LFP230V96A-S lithium battery cabinet is a slave battery cabinet designed only for use with the compatible AIMS Power LFP230V96A-M master lithium battery cabinet. It is not a standalone battery system because the master cabinet contains the BMS required for hybrid inverter communication. This slave cabinet adds 96 amp hours and 22.1 kWh / 22,114 watt hours of lithium battery storage to an approved AIMS Power hybrid inverter battery setup. The cabinet includes six 38.4V lithium packs wired in series and connects to the master cabinet for additional stored power. For high-voltage battery storage systems, final sizing, wiring, placement, and commissioning should be completed by a qualified installer.
The LFP230V96A-S is built to expand an existing AIMS Power master lithium battery cabinet system. It must be used with the LFP230V96A-M master cabinet because the master cabinet contains the BMS required for system communication and control.
Each slave cabinet adds 22.1 kWh of lithium battery capacity to a compatible AIMS hybrid inverter system. This helps increase stored energy for properly planned critical-load support, solar-assisted charging, and peak-rate load management.
The slave cabinet is designed to connect to the master lithium battery cabinet for added stored power. The system supports a maximum of three battery cabinets per compatible hybrid inverter: one master cabinet and two slave cabinets.
The cabinet uses natural cooling, cell balancing support, IP54-rated protection, and included lifting eye bolts. Its 650 lb weight and cabinet dimensions should be reviewed carefully during freight, placement, and installation planning.
This slave lithium battery cabinet is intended for expansion use with the compatible AIMS Power master cabinet, helping increase stored energy capacity for approved hybrid inverter systems.
For larger battery storage configurations, the system can support one master cabinet and up to two slave cabinets per compatible hybrid inverter when properly installed and configured.
